The second DFI mission, held in April 2024, brought together 14 DFIs and Impact Investors to further explore new opportunities across the financial service industries. This mission also focused on latest policy developments, opportunities for investments beyond Class A Banks, and discussed strategies for making DFI investments even more impactful. The mission provided networking opportunities with Development Banks (Class B), Microfinance Institutions (Class D/MFI) and Digital Financial Service (DFS) institutions while also facilitating interactions with Government of Nepal (GoN) representatives to drive for a more conducive investment environment. Additionally, the mission convened an insightful session with Development Partners (DPs) to foster collaboration with DFIs and provided strategic feedback to the Invest for Impact Nepal (IIN) programme.
